A beautiful compact evergreen shrub renowned for its spectacular, ever-changing foliage colours. Throughout the warmer months, Moon Bay displays a delightful combination of fresh lime green, golden yellow and soft apricot leaves, gradually transforming into brilliant shades of orange, scarlet red and rich burgundy as the weather cools. This wonderful kaleidoscope of colours provides outstanding ornamental interest throughout the year.

With its naturally dense, rounded growth habit and delicate, finely divided foliage, Moon Bay is an excellent choice for low hedges, colourful garden borders, mass planting and decorative containers. Growing approximately 60–90 cm high and wide, it is particularly effective for creating neat, colourful edging along pathways and garden beds. Its graceful foliage also makes it a lovely addition to Japanese-inspired gardens, contemporary landscapes and smaller outdoor spaces.

Exceptionally hardy and easy to maintain, Moon Bay thrives in full sun to part shade and adapts well to Brisbane's subtropical climate. It prefers well-drained soil and benefits from regular watering during establishment. Once established, it tolerates periods of dryness and requires very little pruning to maintain its attractive, naturally rounded shape. Mulch to conserve moisture and apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring to encourage healthy growth.
