Hovea acutifolia "Pointed-leaved Hovea"

A small to tall upright evergreen shrub.  Producing dark green, narrow leaves and a stunning late winter to early spring display of mauve to purple, pea-shaped flowers.  New growth is rust coloured.

Suitable for woodland plantings.  Can also be used for light screening.

Prefers a part shade position in well drained soils.  Flowers attract bees.
