A delightful, shrubby tree bearing eye-catching, purple foliage, and purple flowers in spring and summer.

Ideal for adding colour to borders and shrubberies.  Can be used as a hedging plant and suitable for topiary.

Prefers a sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well-drained soil.  Keep moist in periods of dryness and prune lightly after flowering to maintain growth.
