A fast growing, small tree bearing a mass of satiny, cerise-purple, single flowers from autumn to winter.

Ideal garden specimen for warm temperate and tropical areas.

Grows well in a sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well-drained soil.  Requires protection form frost.  Tip prune young plants to promote bushy growth.  Keep moist in dry weather.
