Prolific, rich deep pink to red flowers (Autumn & Winter) are produced on a vigorous evergreen shrub to around 2 m.

An ornamental garden plant with long lasting blooms.  Excellent as a cut flower.  Frost hardy.

CONDITIONS:  Plant in well drained, slightly acid soil in an open, sunny position.  If drainage is poor, plant on a sloping bank or raised bed.  Improve poor soil by digging in organic matter.

FOR BEST RESULTS:  Avoid disturbing sensitive surface roots.  Only in poorest soils use a low phosphorous, slow release fertiliser sparingly in Spring or Autumn.  Remove spent flower.  Prune after flowering to maintain size and shape.  In colder areas avoid Summer or Autumn pruning which would promote frost tender new growth.
